Exploring the ancient stones of West Penwith in Cornwall, set in such a stunning landscape, is for me both a magical and inspirational experience. You can re-visit these sites again and again, yet each time they evoke a different emotional response as the light and the seasons transform the weathered granite into objects of mystical beauty. Each time I raise my camera and look through the lens at these reverential megaliths, I wonder just how many eyes have gazed upon their mystery over thousands of years, what scenes have the stones witnessed, what tales could they tell? I press the shutter and capture a fleeting moment, stealing just a few hundredths of a second from their several thousand year presence. Then I say a silent thank you and walk back into the present.

Prints are supplied double mounted on white acid-free board and clear wrapped. Each work is individually printed using only archival inks and papers, and is signed by the photographer, Simon Fidler. All work is carried out to museum quality conservation standards. Special sizes and mounting, including on-canvass presentation, can be arranged on request.
